  14. A friend just gave me his old 14.4 modem, but for some reason I can't
  15. get it to run on my computer....
  16. I changed the IRQ to conform to my IRQ of 3 for COM2 but when i get into
  17. my terminal program and try to type any commands i.e. AT
  18. It just writes garbage and doesn't even write the right words...my friend
  19. can't find the manual but it seems to have an Intel ROM chip and to other
  20. chips are made by Intel and Goldstar...
  21. Another problem is that there are 4 dip switches

  25. and I don't know if the problem may be because the DIP switches are
  26. configured wrong....can anyone help me with this problem?
